Lotus Yoga 300-Hour Teacher Training Program

The Lotus Yoga Teacher Training Program is designed for the serious yoga student. Whether you choose to teach yoga in a formal setting or just incorporate the teachings more deeply into your own life, this program will offer you an extraordinary opportunity to fully immerse yourself in the yoga philosophy and practices.
Created by Jennifer Kohl, Director of Lotus Yoga, this program is designed to take you through the sacred texts as well as prepare you to teach Hatha Yoga and yoga philosophy to people of all ages and abilities and in various environments. Upon completion of the program, graduates are certified to teach Level 1 Hatha Yoga and Vinyasa Yoga.
There are many paths to yoga and it is important to know what your choices are so that you can be an informed, understanding and compassionate guide for your self and your students. In this training program you will be studying with some of the most acclaimed teachers in their disciplines. In addition to studying with Jennifer Kohl and other special guest teachers, the following is a list of Lotus Yoga Teacher Training faculty:

Meeting times are Saturdays from 4:00 PM – 9:00 PM, Sundays from 2:00 PM – 9:00 PM, and Mondays from 7 PM – 10:00 PM.

In addition to the training dates listed above, the following is a list of required hours:
Karma Yoga – 20 Hours (15 hours of service/5 hours written assignment) Privates w/ Program Director – 9 Hours (6 privates)
Technique/Practice – 28.5 Hours (observing, assisting, practice teaching)
Reading/Written Assignments on Anatomy/Physiology – 14.5 Hours
Reading/Written Assignments on Yoga Philosophy – 30 Hours (2 hours per week)
Practice/Written Assignments on Techniques (class plans & evaluations) – 36 Hours
Total of 303 Hours Include:
Anatomy & Physiology – 30.5 Hours
Teaching & Methodology – 39 Hours
Techniques Training/Practice – 83 Hours
Yoga Philosophy/Lifestyle & Ethics – 75.5 Hours
Practicum – 82.5 Hours
